A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Udine, Andrea specializes in composite material design and structural calculation. He worked at the Juan Yacht design studio during the 2011/2012 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race for Groupama, Puma Racing and Team Telefonica. Since 2013 he has worked as a consultant for various companies and design studios operating in the nautical field. He participated in the 34th AC with Artemis Racing. The 2024 edition will be his third America's Cup, the second with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, after the 2021 edition. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, boating and diving.
