Born in San Gavino Monreale, Giovanni has a diploma with specialization in electronics and telecommunications. Passionate about motorsports and attracted to the sea from an early age, he decided to take a course in lamination of composite materials in the nautical field. He joined Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in August 2022 as part of the shore team. The 2024 one in Barcelona will be his first America's Cup. In his spare time, he enjoys motocross and karting.
