Matteo graduated in 2004 with a degree in Naval Engineering from the University of Trieste. An experienced sailor, he has achieved excellent results in both dinghies and offshore boats. He specializes in CFD, performance analysis, parametric design and numerical optimization. Matteo has three Cup campaigns to his credit (2013 Artemis, 2017 Land Rover BAR, 2021 Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli). The 2024 America's Cup will be his fourth, the second with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. He is passionate about kitesurfing and photography.
