Graduated in Economics, Master's degree in Management and IT with a specialisation from Cambridge, Sara approached sailing with windsurfing and 420, then moving on to offshore boats in several international regattas, also cruising and delivering in the Med. Her professional CV includes multiple experiences in business consultancy and positions in marketing and sponsorships for big names in sport (including Italian National Football Team and Juventus FC, Gazzetta dello Sport, Giro d'Italia, Unicredit Champions League). Also passionate about cars, she follows some off-road expeditions as test driver and wins the Italian selections for the Land Rover G4 Challenge. As for the nautical sector, she takes care of the development of Communication and Marketing in the relaunch phase of the Grand Soleil brand and works as media reporter and producer for the Sky Sport programme "Icarus". In 2018 she joined Luna Rossa as PR and Head of Communication. The 2024 Cup will be her second America's Cup. In his spare time, she enjoys skiing and surfing, swimming and wingfoil.
