Born in Sardinia in 1967, Mario trained as machinist specialized in the marine industry. He has extensive work experience with skills ranging from mechanical carpentry to driving heavy equipment, from laboratory technology machines in construction to concrete mixing plant management. Mario is also well-versed in industrial machinery assembly, maintenance, and repair. A great sailing enthusiast, he is at his third America's Cup campaign with the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team, in which he will oversee the general maintenance of the operating bases.
